What is Step Zero©? / Our Approach
The framework is based on “The Spheres of Understanding©”, a career decision-making model developed by Mr. Saurabh Nanda. The model explains career decision-making through four interconnected spheres:
- The Outside – Understanding external information about careers and opportunities
- The Inside – Having self-knowledge and personal understanding
- The Door – Mapping suitable opportunities using The Outside and Inside Sphere
- The Gift – Creating and maximizing opportunities through regular iterations
After conducting hundreds of counseling sessions and workshops in numerous cities worldwide over the past decade, Saurabh Nanda has developed “The Spheres of Understanding© ” model to explain career decision-making. This model, registered with the Copyrights Office, DPIIT, Government of India (Registration Number – L-125910/2023), and copyrighted in the USA, forms the basis of the ‘Step Zero©: The SN Career Counselling Framework.’

Psychometrics Used
CWT: The CWT Psychometric Test is a scientifically designed assessment for students aged 14 to 20, offering a comprehensive understanding of their career potential. It evaluates 10 key aptitudes, analyzes 28 personality traits, and allows students to explore preferences across 250+ career interests.
Developed by Dr. Itishree Misra, one of India’s leading psychometricians with over 25 years of experience, the test is validated and standardized on lakhs of Indian students, ensuring high reliability and relevance. It provides a strong foundation for informed, personalized, and data-driven career guidance.
Strength Explorer Test
The Strength Explorer Psychometric Test is designed for college students and individuals with up to 1–2 years of work experience who are looking to identify their niche area of expertise. It is based on an Aptitude–Personality–Interest (API) framework, helping individuals gain deeper insights into their core strengths, skill potential, and work preferences.
Developed by Dr. Itishree Misra, one of India’s leading psychometricians with over 25 years of experience, the assessment provides scientifically grounded and reliable insights to support career decision-making.

The Strength Explorer Psychometric Test for experienced professionals is designed for individuals with 5+ years of work experience seeking clarity on career growth or transition.
